Senior Business People Partner - Fortum Business Technologies

Your role

We are looking for an experienced Business People Partner with a strong data tech environmental background to support growth and transformation of the Business Technology function at Fortum. Your main responsibility is to drive Business Technology´s people matters on a strategic level across the countries. Emphasis will be on strategic resource planning and competence development within the framework of data technology. The role also includes supporting business in entering new countries, as well as leadership development. You will also ensure a high quality of core people process implementation in Business Technology.

You will be reporting to Vice President People, Business Technology. Based on your knowledge and interest, you are also able to contribute to Fortum wide people development initiatives.

Your qualifications

We expect you to have a Master’s degree in a relevant area and at least 5-7 years’ experience of working with strategic HR issues in an international data/tech environment. You have strong experience of recruiting IT/data/tech professionals and knowledge of strategic workforce planning and competence development in this area. You have also gained experience in supporting business to set up operations in other locations.

You have strong business and HR acumen as well as ability to handle several issues at the same time.

To succeed in this role, you need to be solution-oriented and have strong problem-solving skills. You also have excellent collaboration skills and a coaching approach. Fluency in English is required. Finnish and Swedish skills are seen as an advantage.
