Sagax is a property company focusing on acquiring, developing and managing industrial and other commercial properties with a long-term view. Sagax has developed positively, with in excess of EUR 300 million in transaction volume in Finland over the past three years. To ensure future growth, Sagax is looking for a Senior Business Developer. In this role you will have an essential role in sourcing as well as executing transactions in the Finnish market. Your responsibilities would also include a wide variety of issues pertaining to the development of value in the existing portfolio such as add on investments and development projects.
As a senior member of Sagax’s investment team you will be working closely with the managing director of Sagax Finland as well as the CEO of AB Sagax (publ.). Sagax´s decision making process is short (low bureaucracy), the company culture is business minded and entrepreneurial. We operate with a broad and flexible mandate (which includes public and private property related equity as well as JV´s in addition to property investments).
You have a solid background in asset management, business development, investment banking or investment in an advisory capacity. Experience from the property sector is a positive attribute but not a requirement. You have experience from transactions and negotiating. As a business developer you are analytical, structured and diligent. You have an academic degree and around 5-10 years of relevant experience. You have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate both in Finnish and English. You plan ahead, organize, follow up and execute bearing in mind the specific targets set for a given project. As a person you are independent, driven and work toward long-term goals and without prestige.
