We are looking for a Business Development Manager to gain market share for Rosemount product portfolio in NEE (North-East Europe).

The main goals for BDM is to make sure that booking and margin objectives are met for the Rosemount (Measurement and Analytical Technology) business in North-East European market. To make this possible the selected person will establish and develop Emerson´s customer relationships and increase Emerson market participation in selected market segments in close cooperation with the service sales team.

Main responsibilities for Business Development Manager

  • Define & build a business plan for Rosemount products and Solution market in NEE
  • Develop relationships at our core customers decision makers, influencers around solutions
  • Pursue projects, participate in tenders and perform other actions in order to provide bookings, having in mind volume and profit objectives.
  • Perform presentations for customers and participate in relevant product demonstrations
  • Support the sales-force to make their sales job easy around Rosemount porfolio
  • Review customer inquiries and support proposal group in the interpretation of customer specifications for technical proposals.
  • Participate in offer/price review. Review contracts and determine if it accurately reflects the offer.
  • Prepare an annual bookings budget according to business units and BDM manager instructions.
  • Produce on-going analysis and trends for the Rosemount and Solution opportunities, solution and technical/ application trends etc. and drive corrective actions/ advises where applicable.

Requirements/competences for the role

  • Degree in engineering discipline or equivalent
  • Control & instrumentation background
  • Basic selling and marketing skills
  • Language: English, Swedish
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to motivate
  • Good communication & analytical skills
