We are looking for a Business Development Manager to gain market share for Emerson in Finland.

The main goals for BDM is to make sure that booking and margin objectives are met for the Terminal and Analytical System business in Finland. To make this possible the selected person will establish and develop Emerson´s customer relationships and increase Emerson market participation in selected market segments in close cooperation with the service sales team. Main responsibilities for Business Development Manager

  • Define & build a business plan for the Terminal market in Finland and execute actions according the plan
  • Develop relationships at potentially new and existing Emerson customers
  • Understand market dynamics and requirements: e.g., analyze market needs and build business cases
  • Provide input to Marketing, Engineering and Sales
  • Understand customer processes and business dynamics, act as a consultant

Requirements for the role

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent in a relevant engineering/business/marketing field, is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in similar industry, of which a minimum of 2 years should be in sales or marketing.
  • Fluency in Finnish and English (verbal, reading and writing).
  • Must be willing and able to travel frequently in the region that fits the scope of the business development opportunity.
